Lamano West Village is a breath of fresh air. There is no shortage of Spanish restaurant's in NYC, but very few serve authentic tapas in the fun and informal way they are prepared in Spain. Lamano is a place you can drop into, have some great plates and mingle with friends. The small kitchen is open and sparse on machinery, keeping the dishes simple and quick. During your meal you sit on tall chairs which gives your dining experience a more bar-like feel. Chef Marco Hernandez is extremely attentive and serves up the Spanish flavors you crave.
